Founded in 1981 by Trevor and Anne Winter, Flamingo Furniture began as a small family business in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, built on a passion for quality furniture, skilled craftsmanship and making things to last.
45 years later, Flamingo Furniture remains proudly family owned and Australian made. Today, the business is led by second-generation Director Brooke Winter, who has grown up with Flamingo and continues to build on the foundations established by her parents while taking the business into its next chapter.
From our factory in Lilydale, Victoria, our experienced team manufactures furniture for the commercial, aged care, hospitality, education and residential sectors. From one-off custom pieces through to large-scale projects involving hundreds of items, our furniture is made by our team, right here in Australia.
Over the years, we’ve invested in modern machinery, expanded our capabilities and continued to evolve, but our core values haven’t changed — quality workmanship, genuine service, supporting local jobs and keeping furniture manufacturing in Australia.
With the third generation now growing up around the business, we’re incredibly proud of where Flamingo has come from and even more excited about where it’s going.
